Grounded by Faith. Shaped by Family. Built on Service.
Keith believes strong communities are built the same way strong families are: with responsibility, humility, and a willingness to help others. He often says life is like an elevator, it goes up and down, and we should always be looking for ways to bring others up with us. That mindset shows up in how he leads, how he communicates, and how he measures success: not by noise, but by outcomes.
Rooted in the Arizona Ranch
Keith didn’t just move to Arizona, he was shaped by it. As a teenager, he attended the historic Orme School, learning and living on the 20,000-acre Orme Ranch. It wasn’t a typical classroom. It was a working landscape that taught discipline, stewardship, and the reality that land, water, and community are inseparable.
Those years formed what Keith still calls the “Orme experience”: do your share, respect the land, and take the long view. That early connection to the desert watershed became the foundation for a lifetime of service and careful stewardship.

Keith’s earliest Arizona years were shaped at Orme School on the Orme Ranch.

The Woods Family
Keith and his wife Molly met as students at Arizona State University. They’ve been married for more than 30 years and raised three sons in Arizona. In the Woods household, family life has never been separate from service. Dinner table conversations range from education and land use to budgets, community needs, and what it means to leave things better than you found them.
Keith is also “Papa” to his granddaughter Sawyer and grandson Bentley, two reasons above all others why long-term decisions today matter.
“Faith and family are the foundation everything else is built on.”

Molly Woods
Molly is a middle school teacher at Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Scottsdale and an award-winning educator, recognized by 12 News and Arcadia News. Her work in the classroom gives Keith a daily view into what families and teachers are facing in the real world, keeping conversations grounded in people, not abstractions.

Kenton Woods, PhD
Kenton leads research initiatives in Chandler Unified School District, using data to improve outcomes for students and schools. His wife, Bobbi Woods, PhD, is a professor at Arizona State University.

Max Woods
Max is a U.S. Navy Health Professional Scholar. After graduating from Indiana University School of Dentistry and completing officer training, he will begin a Navy residency in San Diego, continuing the family’s tradition of service.

Chad Woods
servant leadership in the valley
Keith has spent decades supporting nonprofit and community work across Arizona, often doing the unglamorous heavy lifting: planning, communications, fundraising support, and behind-the-scenes leadership.
He has supported education and youth programs in particular, including:
- Catholic Education Arizona
- Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School
- Grand Canyon Council, Boy Scouts of America
- And other local nonprofit initiatives focused on community strength and youth development
Keith’s approach to community work is simple: show up, do the work, and leave people better supported than you found them.

Keith has decades of support for education, and youth programs, including: Catholic Education Arizona, Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic School, Grand Canyon Council, BSA, and others.
Results and Responsibility
Keith’s professional career has always centered on a simple idea: people deserve clear information and leaders should be accountable for results.
Early Career: Media and Public Communication
Keith spent two decades in Arizona radio, including a long run at 93.3 KDKB during the peak years of Valley broadcasting. He led advertising and marketing efforts in a fast-moving environment where trust mattered and results were measurable. It was real-world training in communicating clearly, earning attention honestly, and understanding what motivates communities.
Founder: KB Woods Public Relations
Keith later founded KB Woods Public Relations, an Arizona-based firm focused on long-term strategy, public trust, and clear communication. Over the years, the firm has supported organizations ranging from local nonprofits and schools to major brands and institutions.
Keith’s work has reinforced a consistent worldview: systems work best when incentives are fair, information is transparent, and decisions are made with consequences in mind.

During those years, Keith’s sons Max (left) and Kenton (right) occasionally did voice-over work, a small family tradition that still makes him smile.
Orme Ranch Forever
Keith’s commitment to Arizona land isn’t theoretical. In August 2023, he helped lead the “Orme Ranch Forever” campaign with the Central Arizona Land Trust, permanently protecting 4.5 miles of Ash Creek and preserving critical watershed and rangeland near Orme School.
The project ensures the land remains a working agricultural and educational resource rather than a future subdivision. Keith contributed by donating professional services through his company, giving time and work, not just a name.
